Spherion Staffing & Recruiting is looking for individuals who have financial experience in the billing, customer service, and/or collections for a temporary to permanent or direct hire opportunity. This is an in person role at the company site. The ideal candidate is highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once. The Billing/Accounts Receivable Specialist work with a variety of people and specialize in processing invoices, handling payments, and accurately tracking and monitoring accounts receivable.

Responsibilities:
- Enter data into the billing system.
- Create invoices.
- Correct billing errors.
- Post batches.
- Prepare reports.
- Maintain the billing system.
- Process customer accounts.
- Use customer information to answer customer's questions or solve a problem, issue credits when appropriate.
- Gather and report on statements, payments, and other billing/accounts receivable information.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel
- Familiarity with QuickBooks
- Associate degree in business or financial area (substantial experience in accounts receivable can be substituted for a degree)

The hours are Monday thru Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, in person.

- Must be able to understand, read, speak, and write English.
- Previous billing experience.
- Basic math skills.
- Business etiquette communication skills for phone and email.
