Responsibilities:
Coordinate staff shifts and schedules
Offer clear and concise goals to supervisors and team members
Develop lab policies based on quality and regulatory requirements
Budget for laboratory supplies and any outsourced testing
Review and enhance company utility and environmental monitoring reports
Utilize current Environment Monitoring reports to establish and maintain Action ad Alert limits, ensuring there are no breaches
Collaborate with manufacturing and QA teams to implement corrective and preventative action in a timely manner
Investigate invalid and out-of-specification results
Interact with clients and investigators
Review external audits reports and develop action plans
All other duties as assigned
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Ability to modify procedures, protocols, and reports in a cGMP and quality setting
Familiarity with cleanroom classifications
Ability to identify microbes using a variety of techniques
Education:
Bachelors
Experience:
7-10 years
Qualifications:
Must follow good documentation practices and proper safety procedures
Knowledge of USP 61/ USP 62/ USP 85/ USP 71/ USP 787/ USP 788/ USP 789
Ability to modify procedures, protocols, and reports in a cGMP and quality setting
Familiarity with cleanroom classifications
Ability to identify microbes using a variety of techniques
Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral (including explaining information in a manner appropriate to the audience)
Proficient in computers (including MS Office Suite)
Bachelor?s Degree in biochemistry, biology, microbiology, or related field with 9 years of experience in a regulated pharmaceutical setting
OR Master?s Degree in biochemistry, biology, microbiology, or related field with 8 years of experience in a regulated pharmaceutical setting
4 years of supervisory experience
GLP/GMP experience
