Spherion Staffing has partnered with a leading biopharmaceutical manufacturer in College Station, TX to recruit for this role. The primary purpose of this role is to maintain and improve the calibration process.
Responsibilities:
Calibrate bio-pharma processing equipment such as bioreactors, centrifuges, filtration skids, columns, critical water systems and a variety of analytical and test equipment like PH meters and pressure gages.

Ensure all systems and devices are in accordance with manufacturer???s specifications.
Maintain all calibration records, work orders and investigations in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintain a safe work environment by ensuring compliance with all regulatory agencies including FDA, OSHA, EPA, etc and by wearing personal protective equipment when required.
All other duties that may be assigned.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Knowledge of calibration procedures and techniques.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work quickly and effectively in a fast paced environment.
Good analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to work with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Ability to work with PLC, Delta V, and SCADA systems.
Working knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint).
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Bachelor???s Degree in related field with 1 year experience in calibration
OR
Associate???s Degree in a related field with 2 years experience in calibration
OR
High School Diploma or 3 years experience in calibration in a science or military environment
