Our client is a full-service contract manufacturer specializing in printed circuit board assemblies, box-build solutions, and wire and cable harnesses. Their facilities in Wisconsin and Iowa serve customers locally and globally, offering a comprehensive range of electronic manufacturing services. In this role, you'll work closely with our purchasing team to meet production needs while being mentored by a senior buyer. Within 12-18 months, you'll be expected to take on the full responsibilities of a Buyer.

Responsibilities:

• Learning daily purchasing activities and maintaining purchase orders for assigned materials
• Collaborating with internal teams and suppliers to procure materials for production
• Understanding supply chain strategies, including forecasting, stocking plans, and cost reduction methods
• Ensuring compliance with ISO standards and customer-specific requirements
• Developing the ability to perform all Buyer duties within 12-18 months

Qualifications:

• 6 months of experience in electrical manufacturing
• Knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning), inventory management, and supply/demand processes
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and web-based software
