Our client partners with the Department of Health Services and assists callers with questions regarding enrollment into the State's managed care programs, Medicaid Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and BadgerCare Plus. The CSR provides support in a call center environment including choice counseling and enrollment in a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO), informing and educating members on enrollment choices and exemption/disenrollment in the State's Maintenance Management Information System (MMIS), as well as perform data entry.Responsibilities:- Provides customer service by managing customer calls, obtaining information from potential members, members, and assessing needs.- Maintains updated knowledge of the Wisconsin Medicaid programs and health plans available to members and members.- Processes enrollments, exemptions, and disenrollments by phone, mail, or other contact methods and inputs data into the State MMIS and tracks contact in internal system.- Works with a diverse population to provide general program information and answers questions about the Wisconsin Medicaid programs.- Provides information to members and members to assist them in choosing a health plan, including specific information about each health plan, such as benefits and the plan's network of providers.- Responds to calls, emails, and all other correspondence courteously, accurately, and concisely and follows approved validation procedures regarding Personal Health Information and Personally Identifiable Information.- Reports any issues of concern and/or problems to the Call Center Supervisor.- Follows policies and procedures without deviation.- Evaluates information received through a phone contact, asks appropriate follow-up questions, solicits additional information, and evaluates the potential impact of the information provided.Working hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PMSkills:- Effective communication skills- Computer proficiency- Ability to type and document appropriate events- Customer service oriented- Ability to maintain compassionate and pleasant tone over the phone- Detail orientedEducation:High SchoolExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:- Must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification- Ideally 2 years experience in a customer service setting or office setting - Provide compassionate and patient customer service to members - Must be able to type 30 wpm (testing required) Apply Today!Spherion has helped thousands of people just like you find work happiness!
