As an Enrollment Specialists you will serve as the day-to-day frontline support for members and authorized representatives to provide choice counseling and support with enrollments, disenrollments and appeals for NC residents enrolling in Medicaid benefits.

You will help to de-escalate issues as appropriate and properly document all call center contacts. In addition to handling inbound volume, Enrollment Specialists will also assist with Outbound follow up calls and working manual tasks as needed to support the North Carolina Medicaid Transformation program.
Responsibilities:
Handle high volume inbound calls supporting members with counseling when selecting appropriate health care plans to meet their needs
Accurately document member information and call notes
Provide members with accurate information and a positive experience to all callers (callers may also include local county offices)
De-escalate callers when handling complaints and escalating when appropriate
Handle up to 3 incoming chat sessions simultaneously
Complete offline work as needed
Working hours: Various Shifts Available
Skills:
Attention to detail
Bi-lingual a Plus
Medicaid experience a plus
Ability to multi-task and complete work on-time with accuracy
Proficient typing skills
Solid computer skills: Word, Excel and Outlook
Verbal and written skills
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
1-3 years inbound call center experience is required, preferred in healthcare
HS diploma or GED
Ability to work in a high-speed, fast paced environment
Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends
