This is a hands-on, problem-solving role suited for candidates with a strong mechanical or technical background who can troubleshoot complex issues, document findings, and collaborate cross-functionally to maintain service excellence.
Responsibilities:
Provide phone and email-based technical support to field service engineers and technicians.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment and software malfunctions using established processes.
Support situations where first-line support cannot isolate or fix the issue.
Log and track all cases in Salesforce, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
Collaborate with engineering teams to identify recurring issues and implement corrective actions.
Conduct hands-on troubleshooting and product training at the local service depot as needed.
Follow established quality procedures and ensure all repairs align with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and internal standards.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Associate's degree or equivalent experience in electronics, mechanical systems, or related technical field preferred.
3+ years of experience in technical support, field service, or equipment diagnostics.
Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems for case management.
Strong mechanical, electrical, and software troubleshooting skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication; able to explain technical issues clearly.
Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
