PARKING ATTENDANT - CASHIER
- Provide efficient, friendly and courteous customer service while ensuring that all cashier and parking attendant transactions meet Company practices for revenue control

- Initiate and sustain conversations with customers
Responsibilities:
Remain in post position as directed by management
Calculate fees and take payment from customer leaving the parking facility ? Process cash, credit cards, and validation transaction based upon established fees and procedures
Furnish receipts as requested by customers
Document all transaction in accordance with Company policies
Vacancy counts of vehicle inventories
Be accountable for all cash received and tendered, and disposition of such cash according to Company operations.
o Any shortage or overage may result in disciplinary action up to termination
Working hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
- Ability to work under stressful situations and tight time constraints with ease - Ability to endure exposure to outside weather conditions, such as heat, cold, wind, etc. while waiting for or assisting customers
- General area upkeep, cleaning, sweeping, removal of trash, empting trash cans and oil spills on a daily basis and or as directed by management
- Maintaining work station clean
Education:
High School
Experience:
0-1 years
Qualifications:
Must have a current valid California state driver's license
Must have a clean driving record as determined by a background check and DMV record
Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate in English
Ability to complete parking and other forms in legible writing and printing
Ability to add and subtract two digit number and to multiply and divide with tens and 100 digits and ability to perform these operations using units of American money
Ability to recognize when there is a problem situation and escalate to management
Must be experienced and comfortable leading a team of employees
Must be aware of and sensitive to the needs of a diverse employee population
Must be able to meet DMV vision requirements or wear eye correction as determine by the DMV
Ability to sit, stand, bend repetitively for long periods of time (6-12 hours)
