The Floor Operator (Cheese Line Operator), utilizing various pieces of equipment and under the direction of the Production Supervisor, packages cheese into 680lb blocks or 40lb boxes (weights vary and could be more) meeting or exceeding company and customer quality specification.
Responsibilities:

1.Works in a safe manner following all required safety procedures including but not limited to wearing all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
2.Works as part of a team packaging cheese into 680lb blocks or 40lb boxes (weights vary and could be more) rotating through various specific aspects of the process.
3.Effectively operates equipment including cheese towers, cheese collator, box making machine, vacuum chambers, box inverter, banding machine, etc.
4.Keeps pace with product flow through the cheese line to maintain expected product rate and quality.
5.Ensures product meets or exceeds quality standards (which includes but are not limited to): free from foreign objects, metal detection expectations are met, visual inspection of product.
6.Properly follows standard operating procedures for both production and sanitation activities.
Working hours: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)

Manufacturing experience preferred, but willing to train.

???Requires standing for extended periods of time (up to 10 hours) with frequent stooping, twisting, kneeling, walking and crouching.
???Exposure to high humidity and hot temperatures are possible.
