A Technical support position that demonstrates a full understanding of the application of advanced injection molding techniques and technology; and satisfactorily exercises the high technical level concepts, practices and procedures of processing, mold changeovers and material handling.Responsibilities:Review daily production schedule and machine priority as determined by scheduling.Perform process troubleshooting.Perform process audits and address process deviations.Perform process shut-downs as needed per standard work instructions.Perform process start-ups per standard work instructions.Initiate mold or machine maintenance work orders as necessary for repairs or improvements.Perform 5S audits per the audit schedule.Submit CIHB cards for issues that cannot be addressed immediately.Perform sampling of new molds and materials and develop master processing parameters.Perform rigorous mold trials and provide recommendations for mold and machine improvements to yield optimum process efficiency and product quality.Complete all necessary documentation.Develop and continuously improve processor standard work instructions.Teach trainees in ideal processing and troubleshooting methodology.Understand and machine and tooling preventative maintenance.Co-lead internal problem solving and continuous improvement activities.Assist with mold changeover and material handling activities when needed.Participates on safety teams and follows all safety policies and procedures.Other duties as assigned by management.Working hours: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PMSkills:Ability to read, understand and fluently speak English language.Ability to develop and interpret documents such as standard work instructions and operations reports.Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees.Ability to perform advanced algebraic equations and apply them whereNecessary in the processing of plastics. For assigned shift, works as a team in following work schedules to produce on time, quality parts. Performs various jobfunctions, such as hanging parts in preparation for coating, removing parts after coating, material movement, and packaging.Responsibilities:Work as a team in hanging individual parts on various sized fixtures for placement on line by following order priority list andshop order.Per shop order, remove parts from fixtures after coating and place in required containers. Pack parts into boxes, completeassociated paperwork, and load data into computer system.
