The cleaning technician is responsible for cleaning fire, smoke, water, mold, and other types of damage from buildings and contents. Main job duties will include removing residue and odor from affected areas. Projects will include packing and moving client contents to be processed and stored in another location. Responsibilities:
1. Thoroughness and efficiency in cleaning structural components.
2. Pack-out/Pack-in of building contents, such as: furniture clothing, household goods, kitchen wares, knickknacks, etc.
3. Inspect and clean the structural areas outlined in the scope of work.
4. Complete inventory lists of all contents that are removed from the jobsite.
5.When cleaning contents the goal should always be to return the contents to pre-loss condition.
6. Leave the jobsite clean by removing all cleaning supplies upon departure.
7. Always take care and professionalism when moving customer?s contents to prevent loss, damage or breakage.
8. Knowledge and use of cleaning techniques, supplies, and tools.
9. Follow all written cleaning procedures.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Skills:
Physical Requirements:
1. Medium work: exerting up to 50 pounds of force routinely, and/or 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
2. Ascends/descends ladders, stairs, scaffoldings, and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms.
3. Maintain balance in all situations.
4. Push, pull and frequently carry objects such as tools, materials and equipment.
5. Stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
6. Stand and walk for long periods of time.
7. Coordinate movement with eyes, hands, fingers, and feet.
8. See and hear well with or without correction to avoid safety hazards to themselves and others.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
1. Experience in cleaning contents desired but not required
2. Detail-oriented.
3. Customer service skills.
4. Good communication and professionalism.
