• Check/fill coolants and way oils, check/change air filters on a daily basis.
• Retrieve and place any setup materials at machine that may be needed
• Build tooling for initial setups. Clean and maintain tool carts, tool crib area, tooling shelving.
• Empty out idle machines of tooling per supervisor’s discretion.
• Deburr and tap parts as needed.
• Operate manual and CNC machines as needed.

• Knowledge of Blue Print Reading
• Good to excellent math and trinometric skills
• Knowledge of tooling and set-ups
• Knowledge of all types of materials and their machining properties

• Dependable, Prompt and able to prioritize work
• Set up shop machinery
• Set up tool, cutter and surface grinders
• Set up hardness testing equipment
• Ability to repair tooling
• Ability to perform milling operations
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments
