SUMMARYUnder supervision, operate CNC (computer numerical controlled) machinery lathe and mills to manufacture metallic and non-metallic parts.First shift 6:30 to 4:00 Mon, Tues, Wed, Thu and 6:30a to 10:30a on Fridays. Payrate DOEResponsibilities:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, however, other duties may apply.)1. Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner2. Reads and interprets blueprints3. Properly and safely loads and unloads raw materials4. Proficient in use of measuring instruments5. Uses gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements6. Ability to power on and operate CNC lathes and mills with minimal assistance. Must be self-sufficient.7. Must be familiar with MAZAK controls, Mori Controls and Haas controls8. Must demonstrate a basic understanding of cutting tools9. Properly uses inserts, fixtures and tooling10. Understands and has the ability to perform basic tool wear offsets11. Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on CNC machinery12. Assists in the organization and maintenance of the machine shop work environment13. Provides constant feedback and input into process improvement within the department14. Basic understanding and ability to follow manufacturing processes and procedures15. Utilizes and abides by ISO requirements and safety procedures16. Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions17. Communicates thoughts and ideas, both verbally and in writing, to co-workers and management18.
