Schedule, prepare agendas and materials, and take minutes for multiple compliance committee meetings (Compliance Committee, Enterprise Risk, Management Committee, Special Investigations Unit Steering Committee, Delegated Vendor Oversight Committee).
Administrator of Health Alliance company-wide document management / policy system. Provides training to management, ensures policies are entered and formatted correctly, sets up owners, reviewers and approvers, and ensures policy goes through the proper access before publishing in system.
Assists with the development/maintenance of compliance program: Maintenance of compliance program documents. Development of PowerPoint presentations or other Elearning authoring tools for compliance education materials (including privacy and security) and assist in the Learning Management System for Health Alliance Compliance (including privacy and security) lessons. Manages the compliance databases and SharePoint sites.
HIPAA Privacy and Security functions such as scan, process data and review of authorization and Legal Personal Representative documents (i.e. power of attorney, legal guardian, executor of estate) in a timely manner to ensure compliance. Review accidental and required disclosures and restrictions on member record.
Assists with and conducts HIPAA Privacy and Security Audits.
Vendor Management: Entering contracts and data into contract management system, Ntracts, as well as assist with vendor management software data entry, reporting, and follow-up with multiple third party vendors and internal contract owners.
New Employee Orientation (NEO): responsible for scheduling trainings, sending and analyzing follow-up surveys.
Special Investigations Unit (SIU) / Fraud Waste and Abuse (FWA): assist entering referrals, requesting medical records, preparing letters/mailing, and data entry into FWA software for SIU.
Maintains Operations Letter System.
Maintains Corporate Outlook phone directory.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Five years experience working in health care, law, or insurance industries
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Adoble Pro
