Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Plant Controller position performs a
variety of weekly, and monthly reporting requirements, ensures that inventory and vendor
payment controls are followed, and completes project-oriented tasks to support the operational, financial, and strategic needs.

Prepare the daily, weekly, and monthly production and general plant performance reports
Ensure that the appropriate controls for vendor payments (including grower payments, FLC payments, and temp labor payments) are documented, understood, and followed.
Review and approve vendor payments.
Ensure that inventory cycle counting controls are documented, understood, and followed.
Maintain accurate perpetual inventory balances for all California locations, including main plant, warehouse, and any outside warehouses as applicable.
Plan, coordinate, and conduct annual physical inventory for the California facilities. Miscellaneous ad-hoc reporting as requested.

Skills:
5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent skills in Excel and PowerPoint and proficiency with ERPs (NetSuite preferred)
Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance or economics or a related field
