-Provide day-to-day supervision of Accounting Staff to include Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, and Payroll functions-Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies and applicable laws-Maintain and build management depth for existing business and growth-Maintain an effective system of internal controls, ensuring compliance with Corporate and generally accepted standards of accounting and reporting-Direct the processes of recording, reviewing, and reporting performance of the plant, with a focus on continuous improvement in terms of accuracy, timeliness, relevance, and cost-Partner with plant management with managing capital expenditures to optimize economic performance, product quality, and associate safety-Effectively manage the plant's Capital Expenditure Request (CER) process-Oversee inventory and overall asset management-Ensure effective training, development, coaching, of the accounting team members-Oversee the payroll and timekeeping function for the organization-Serve as the coordinator/director of the operations' cost/financial issues on behalf of the plant management team-Participate and report financial performance and other ad-hoc business case analysis to the PTM-Manage the plant production costing process; prepare and review all new product costing requests (internal and external customers) with the plant management team-Perform special projects as directed by the CEO and Director of Operations-Review monthly closing responsibilities and related cost/analytical and auditing responsibilities-Support activities related to annual capital/operating budgets, labor standards, payroll, key initiative reporting, operations performance forecast, scorecard comments, capital project review and approval and Agri Stats analysis and review-Serve as the primary IT Liaison with our external IT service provider/partner

-Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) is preferred-Manufacturing experience strongly preferred
-Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline is required-Either a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or an MBA is required-A minimum of 5 years of formal leadership within Accounting or Business Operations is required-8+ years accounting experience is required-Experience with enterprise planning software, including inventory management software is required-Must have excellent computer skills in Excel, Access and Word-Strong interpersonal communications skills-Critical thinking and analytical reasoning skills-Relationship building skills & a collaborative mindset-Good time management skills and excellent attention to detail
