We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer for this full-time, DIRECT HIRE opportunity.Mon-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PMCurrent Hiring Bonus of $7,500Responsibilities:Develop products from concept through full production within the context of Condux?s five phase Project Management ProcessCreate and maintain computer based solid-models, layouts, and drawingsMechanical modeling and layout of electrical and hydraulic componentsFull responsibility for all engineering documentation, specifications and required data for assigned projectsCreate and maintain Bills of Material and drawings, process engineering change noticesAudit Bills of Material during equipment buildsDevelop and analyze mechanismsPerform cost analysis and cost reduction projectsBasic electrical design, component requirements and specificationsSupport of other company functions in a cross-functional team-based environment, including manufacturing, quality, marketing, and salesDirect customer support as necessaryStress analysis, manual and computer assisted Material selection, treatment, and metallurgySelection and specification of purchased componentsNew product validation and testingAble to travel up to 15%Drive continuous improvementRepresent the design engineering team with professionalism and integrity when communicating and working with the customer, cross functional teams, and the entire organizationFull responsibility for providing the customer (internal and external) with service and products that exceeds expectationsCreation and maintenance of aftermarket support material including parts manuals and operation/user manualsOther duties as assignedWorking hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSkills:Familiarity with manufacturing processes, machining, welding, castings, additive manufacturingStrong CAD skills, CREO preferredPMP Certification preferredCE Marking experience preferredISO 9001 experience preferredPower Transmission Equipment Design preferredDeveloping project management skillsEducation:BachelorsExperience:4-7 yearsQualifications:At least 5 year experience in hydraulics and pneumatics Bachelor?s in mechanical design engineering or related fieldFamiliarity with manufacturing processes, machining, welding, castings, additive manufacturingMS Office Suite proficiency ? outlook, word, excel, and projectDeveloping proficiency with FMEA, DFMAT, Root cause analysis, Poka-Yoke, SPC, GD&TDeveloping experience with ERP, MRP, cost roll-up, inventory control, work orders, PLMMicrosoft SharePoint ProficiencyMinimum of 5 years of design related experience WHO WANTS THAT $7500?
