Our client has been proudly serving clients for over 100 years. They specialize in iron-casted safety equipment for automobiles, industrial machinery, and the trucking industry. They are a staple of the Reedsburg community and are looking to fill out their Engineering team with a Controls Engineer. This role will assist in the design, testing, installation, and maintenance of large-scale electronic equipment or machinery for use in manufacturing.
Some other duties will include;
- Follows established and defined processes and procedures to complete basic projects and solve problems of limited scope.
- Assists in evaluating control systems, products, components, and applications.
- Assists in evaluating new manufacturing and control technologies, adapting into specifications as appropriate.
- Confirms control system functionality, including appropriate safety compliance, by designing and/or executing test procedures.
- Design, construct, and connect cabling necessary for testing, development, and troubleshooting PLC and computer interfaces.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent with over three years' experience preferred; willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to approach work assignments in a positive manner and function as a team member.
- Must be willing and able to wear all required PPE
