Responsibilities:
Work with referral sources, physicians' offices and patients to build an order. Works with company billing personnel to provide documents needed for reimbursement.

Works to ensure flow of paperwork is efficient from receipt of order, insurance verification, setup/pickup, and billing.
Customers with new orders will be contacted within 24 to 48 hours from the receipt of the order.
Customers will be followed up on in at least 7 day intervals until delivery is scheduled.
Becomes familiar with incoming referrals and orders process for delivery and pick up, including but not limited to:
- Patient demographics
- Emergency contact information
- Insurance information and verification
- Physician information
- Diagnosis
- Billing information
Provides patient an estimated financial responsibility prior to delivery of equipment and supplies.
Is familiar with the completion process of any special instructions for billing to the patient's insurance prior to the delivery.
Work with the Branch manager and Warehouse personnel to meet the patient's needs for unusual equipment or supplies.
Is familiar with the process of informing patient or patient?s caregiver of benefits (what the policy reimburses). Arrange private pay billing if required.
Is familiar with the process of working with family or referral source and warehouse personnel on delivery and/or pick up arrangements.
Work with the New Business Coordinator to implement protocols for new business
Responsible for daily/weekly/quarterly lead duties:
- Return to CSR WIPs for corrections
- Monthly Outstanding Sales Orders report assignments
- Entering credit card information into Strategic AR
- Back up to In-coming Fax Specialist
- Overseeing DME meetings
- Overseeing quarterly short DME evaluations
- Overseeing training and training materials
Promotes teamwork among co-workers, including assisting fellow office workers, as needed.
Demonstrates timeliness, courtesy, sincerity and patience when dealing with customers.
Markets the company in a positive and professional manner at all times.
Assumes other duties within scope of training as assigned by the HME Office Manager.
Working hours: 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Graduate of an accredited high school or GED equivalency. Knowledge of insurance billing and or managed care a plus.

High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Good organizational skills. Willing to function as a cooperative team member. Responsible and cooperative attitude. Clean and neat in personal appearance.
