We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team at a leading logistics company. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our valued customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring smooth coordination of their shipping and scheduling needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer satisfaction, excellent communication skills, and a background in logistics or shipping.
The D shift schedule is Thursday to Saturday and every other Sunday from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am. The pay rate is $19.00 per hour and this includes a shift differential.
Responsibilities:
-Serve as the main point of contact for customers, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional service.
-Assist customers with scheduling shipments, ensuring accurate pickup and delivery times, and coordinating with carriers and drivers.
-Handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions in a timely and professional manner.
-Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints using our CRM system.
-Collaborate with internal teams to address customer concerns, troubleshoot problems, and ensure smooth and efficient operations.
-Monitor shipment status and proactively provide updates to customers, keeping them informed of any delays or changes.
-Uphold company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Working hours: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Skills:
-Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
-Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools to track customer interactions and resolve issues.
-Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
-Familiarity with shipping and scheduling processes, including knowledge of carriers, shipping documentation, and freight terms.

Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics, supply chain management, or customer service are a plus.
-Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the logistics or shipping industry.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
