The Professional Division of Spherion Mid-Ohio is partnered with an established Mansfield manufacturing facility seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team. The Customer Service Representative will strive to ensure customer satisfaction is achieved and assist the company in meeting goals for safety, revenue, quality, and receivables.
Essential Job Duties:
- Responsible for building positive and strong relationships with customers, internal teams including other company facilities.
- Manage all aspects of the order cycle including reviewing the PO for accuracy, order entry, confirmation, order status updates, tracking and follow up with proactive communication to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate regularly with other departments in different locations, credit, logistics, supply chain, operations, and sales to ensure orders are shipped in full and on time to customers.
- Coordinate with management to authorize expenditures when appropriate to ensure delivery and customer satisfaction levels are maintained.
- Engagement with multiple teams by contributing skills and knowledge to continually strive for solutions and results.
- Knowledge and compliance to all relevant processes, policies, and standards, both departmental and companywide.
- Successfully manage situations of basic degree of complexity which could impact company image and/or sales dollars and cost.
- Initiate and document dispute resolution process as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Perform all functions of job responsibilities using various computer programs and software.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED required.
- At least 1 year of customer service/sales experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working Automotive OEM or Teir 1customers preferred.
- Excellent communications skills both written and verbal.
- Basic computer skills required including Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Ability to handle customer complaints in a professional calm manner.
- Extremely organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work alone or in a team; self- motivated and can keep on task.
- Customer focused and proficient with all work.
