The Customer Service Representative will work directly with the Plant Manager, Production, and Sales to ensure orders are accurately entered, processed, and tracked in Company systems. This position will be responsible for facilitating timely shipping, including compiling shipping documents and labeling shipments. This position will communicate effectively with the Plant Manager, customers, warehouse staff, and the sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform order entry at both sales invoicing and supply level
• Create and send invoices
• Answer incoming calls on a multi-line phone system for customers, employees, vendors, and suppliers
• Respond to customer requests for information concerning quotes, order tracking, order expediting, and product availability
• Process, maintain, and control documentation
• Notify customers of potential backorders, credit issues, order availability, and any other critical information
• Identify next steps and promptly follow up on tasks to ensure completion and progress
• Data entry
• Accurately manage and update Excel spreadsheets
• Perform other administrative tasks as requested

Skills:

• 1-2 years previous experience with order entry, shipping clerk, and/or customer service in a manufacturing setting
• Excellent phone demeanor and verbal communication
• Willing and helpful attitude to help and support team members
• Ability to build positive and productive working relationships by phone and email
• Comfortable working in Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Professional written and verbal communication skills

Compensation:
$20-21/hour (approximately $41,600-43,680 annually)

Education:
High school diploma or GED is required

Schedule and Location:
This is a full time position (40 hours per week). Schedule is Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm. This position is temp-to-hire with opportunity for permanent hire for the right candidate. The Representative will work 100% onsite in the Drossbach facility in Stow, Ohio.
