Spherion Staffing is accepting resumes for a CSR position at a local bank/credit union. This person will assist members and potential members with products and services; explains services, sets up new accounts, cross-sell applicable products and services including the setup of online banking and enrollment of e-statements. Assist members in the loan process, resolve member opportunities and forward loan information to appropriate staff members.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
-Receives and processes member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments; sells money orders and gift cards to members; transfers amounts from member accounts as directed. Post transactions to member accounts and maintain member records. Balances daily transactions.
-Assists members with opening and closing accounts, initiates loan applications; answers questions about products and services and resolves problems that are within their authority; Refers problems that are beyond their authority to their supervisor, along with their recommendations. Identifies cross-selling opportunities and cross-sells services to members. Acts as liaison between members and various organizations and departments.
-Assures that appropriate records are maintained and required reports are prepared
-Maintains member account information on company systems.
-Performs other related duties as assigned.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Knowledge and Skills:
-Six months to 2 (two) years of similar or related experience
-High school education or GED
-Able to operate technology associated with online banking such as mobile devices, personal computer and Microsoft office.
-Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills
