The Customer Service Representative works in the Supply Chain department generating sales orders, confirming PO's, answers emails regarding products, pricing, shipping methods, tariff codes, etc. Assists customers, tracks inventory, communicates with production, sales, logistics and accounting as needed on customer needs and customer accounts. Communicates with logistics for shipping finished goods as needed, including overseas shipments. And enters new customer information into ERP system.

Generating sales orders, following FIFO for inventory shipments.
Confirms PO's back to the customer in a timely manner. (1 to 2 days)
Answer emails regarding products, pricing, shipping methods, tariff codes, etc. Forward inquiries to other departments as necessary.
Assists customers effectively by resolving customer concerns.
Provides customer additional information and/or explain services.
Discusses products offered and ensures customer satisfaction.
Respond to customer emails dealing with order related issues (product delays, damaged shipments, incorrect shipments, etc.) and offer best possible resolution.
Tracking inventory as orders are processed.
Communicate with production, sales, logistics and accounting as needed on customer needs and customer accounts.
Communicates with logistics for shipping finished goods as needed, including overseas shipments.
When possible, communicate customer forecasts to purchasing/production.
Serve as back-up for other customer service reps when absent.
Enter new customer information into ERP system.
Other job duties as assigned.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Proven Work History
Supply Chain experience helpful
Logistics experience helpful
ERP System experience helpful
Knowledge of tariff codes
Extremely detail orientated with an emphasis on accuracy in a fast-paced atmosphere.
Must be able to prioritize and manage emails to reply in a timely manner.
Respectful and professional communication skills between customers and colleagues.
One to two years related experience and/or training; or, equivalent combination of education and experience.

PAY RANGE: $50,000 - $65,000/YR
Hybrid Position: Can work remotely 2???3 days per week with the other days in the office. So employee must live within reasonable distance from Albert Lea office
