Responsibilities:
Inventory
-Perform daily cycle counts given by Inventory Analyst or Material Analyst, meeting productivity metrics
-Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity.
-Maintain product identification, location, and Batch accuracy.
-Research inventory discrepancies
-Open cartons, bundles, and other containers to count items and/or weigh materials to determine quantity on hand.
-Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products
-Perform tasks as assigned by the department manager
-Work in a warehouse and manufacturing environment in a safe and efficient manner
-Keep all parties informed of inventory status use of daily QOS metrics
-Adhere to a daily count calendar to ensure all inventory counts are complete
-Work in a self motivated manner
-Perform adjustments requested by other departments in a timely manner-
-Ensure proper 5S in all inventory areas
-Work to improve all departments QOS KPI
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills:
-Forklift certified and use as needed to reach inventory
-Scanner use to correct inventory location discrepancies
-Timely completion of projects assigned by manager or authorized person
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
-Basic Computer skills, MS Excel, Word, & Outlook
- Basic Math skills
- Reliable transportation to work
- Good attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work in a team environment, displaying a positive and energetic
attitude
- Ability to work through and understand inventory inaccuracies
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneeling, stooping, crouching and climbing
- 3-5 years of verifiable inventory control work experience
- SAP experience
