Supervise the production and safety in the manufacturing procedure to assure quality and consistency. Meet or exceed safety requirements, production, efficiency, quality, cost savings, product safety, scrap control and administrative functions.Responsibilities:1.Operate to ensure a safe working environment to achieve and/or maintain an accident-free workplace. Recognize and act on incidents and safety risks. Consistently practice and enforce safe work behaviors and drive those behaviors throughout the organization.2.Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Safety and HACCP Pre-requisite Programs related to activities performed for this position and ensure employee compliance.3.Improve safety, performance and programs, morale, production and efficiency. 4.Distribute manpower to most beneficial work station and control labor hours to standards.5.Assure quality of product being produced. 6.Assure G.M.P (Good Manufacturing Practices).7.Assure shift?s production and control shift inventory. 8.Handle personnel issues and complaints; conduct performance reviews and disciplinary issues.9.Train or obtain training for employees when needed. Assist operators in troubleshooting problems.10.Report accurate daily production totals, scrap and downtime logs.11.Conduct shift meetings.
