Responsibilities:
Knowledge of, and conformance to, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) as
applicable to the position, including:
Reads, learns, follows and communicates Sanitation and Approved Chemical Master List SOPs, PPE
requirements and safety program.
Performs sanitation procedures:
Reads, understands, and follows manufacturer???s directions for all chemicals used for cleaning or sanitizing.
Mixes cleaning and sanitizing solutions for cleaning parts, equipment, and facilities.
Cleans parts, equipment, equipment carts, racks, polishing brushes, mops, and mop buckets.
Completes all associated logs.
Work side by side with production during product changeovers to expedite turnaround time while at the same
time learning about the machinery and parts to potentially move up in the organization.
Maintains supplies throughout the building (i.e.: hair nets, beard nets, shoe coverings, paper towels, paper
cups, etc.).
Maintains facility and grounds, trash removal, and overall cleanliness of area outside building, including snow
removal.
Work in a GMP environment wearing appropriate PPE.
Notifies Sanitation and Facilities Supervisor about issues in any of the above areas and provides recommendations for
solution.
Secondary job duties:
Other duties may be assigned.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent GED Certificate, or a combination of experience, education and training.
Experience:
0-6 months of work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Comprehend basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, weights and measures, and efficient use of a
calculator.

Basic mechanical skills to disassemble and reassemble machinery.
Requires accuracy, reliability and attention to detail.
