The Quality Control Inspector I is responsible for ensuring client's compliance with established Quality Assurance SOPs forreceiving, manufacturing, bottling and labelling processes. This includes performing and documenting compliant practices, inpartnership with other departments. The Quality Assurance Inspector II will demonstrate a positive approach to create a cultureof high quality standards.Responsibilities:Knowledge of and conformance to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices(GMPs) as applicable to the company operations, including:Reads, learns, follows and communicates Quality Assurance SOPs, PPE requirements and safety program.Performs and documents:Reviews each receiving, manufacturing, bottling and/or labelling order against processes and specifications (and anydeviations) before approving or rejecting for use.Approves or rejects material disposition requests, repackaging, or other exceptions.Disposition of materials, labels, or labelled bottles.Performs ATP testing.Completes temperature recorder logs.Collects retention samples.Product label release and control.Providing assistance:Identifies and reports non-conformance to Quality Assurance III and/or QA Manager.Assists QA Inspector III with root cause analysis.Starts the investigation process.Acts as floater between departments as needed.Working hours: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AMSkills:Skills & abilities:Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.Comprehend basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, weights and measures, and efficient use of acalculator.Ability to manage time efficiently, follow instructions, and be a hands-on problem solver.Ability to detect, recognize, and judge discrepancies.Requires accuracy, reliability and attention to detail.Team Oriented - being helpful, respectful, approachable, building strong working relationships and a positive workenvironment, reliable, honest, interacts with other tactfully, resolves conflicts appropriately and adapts to change.Computer skills:Beginner level in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.Education:High SchoolExperience:4-7 yearsQualifications:Education:High school diploma or GED equivalent.Experience:Minimum 2-4 years of work experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment (including 1 year in quality control orquality assurance position), or equivalent combination or training and experience.1 year of experience in an FDA-regulated industry preferred.
