Spherion is currently seeking to fill a director level position in Detroit Lakes, MN. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in areas including leadership, continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment, lean concepts and principles. This is a direct hire opportunity with a full benefits package available.

- Develop key performance indicators (KPI's) for each area including engineering, safety, facilities and maintenance
- Work with leadership in multiple departments at all company locations to develop individual development plans. Track and monitor progress on a continual basis
- Drive sustained improvement by utilizing continuous improvement plans and problem-solving skills
- Planning, budgeting, implementing and overseeing all capital equipment projects across all locations
- Ensure regulatory compliance and serves as the primary safety and environmental leader at all company locations
- Direct and coordinate, through functional groups, the activities of the different support functions engaged in the CI/Manufacturing Engineering, EH&S, Facility and Maintenance areas of the business
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

- 5 to 7 years of recent business analytics experience
- Bachelor degree in business, scientific or technical field. Advanced degree preferred
- Lean concepts and principles
- Understanding of ISO or TS16949

- Previous supervision of direct reports
