Responsibilities:
-Oversees the daily site Operational P&L. Supports future business forecasts, makes budget recommendations, evaluates monthly results, and holds departments accountable to expectations.
-Responsible for driving the organization to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow, and business goals and objectives.
-Ownership of Environmental Health and Safety Adherence (including sustainability), Quality internal and external, Inventory turns (raw) and accuracy, Continuous Productivity Improvements (Overall facility efficiency
improvements), Budget and CapEx adherence
-Ensures compliance with company standards for quality, on-time delivery, and cost control.
-Promotes and leads a culture of respect, integrity, and accountability
-Identifies, communicates and drives implementation of approved capital investments and improvement projects.
-Supports material requirements to ensure material availability while increasing inventory turns and managing appropriate inventory levels.
-Provides support and guidance on production capacity planning and schedule development for prioritization of manufactured products in keeping with effective operations and organizational monthly and quarterly targets.
-Ensure product, material, and information streams flow and are synchronized to produce maximum efficiencies and the lowest cost of operation.
-Provides support and guidance to non-Operational departments (including Finance, IT, HR, Customer Service, Sales, and Engineering).
-Provides leadership for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
-Preferred experience with the customized product including high mix / low volume production environment.
Education:
Bachelors
Experience:
7-10 years
Qualifications:
-Bachelor???s degree or Equivalent Experience: Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or Industrial Technology
-Proven record of success as a ???hands-on??? operations management leader with at least 7+ years of experience in a similar role(s) with a progressive career track.
-Advanced degree, MS and/or MBA preferred.
-Supervisory experience required
-Experience leading major cross-functional initiatives that included negotiating resources, creating project plans and timelines, identifying and removing roadblocks, and implementing improved product lines.
-Experience must be in a manufacturing environment.
-Demonstrated history of successful change transformations (including designing and implementing operational excellence improvements) through lean manufacturing and six sigma methodologies.
