Our client in the Columbia area is seeking a Director of Production. This highly visible role will be responsible for owning all aspects of manufacturing processes, including planning, developing and leading all aspects of the company's production policies, objectives, and initiatives. This role is considered to be a member of the company's Executive Management team. A Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt and 10 years+ of Automotive production experience are REQUIRED for this role.

Responsibilities:
- Establish the performance goals, allocate resources, and assess policies for senior management.
- Direct short-term and long-range planning and budget development to support strategic business goals.
- Responsible for P&L and Balance Sheet performance to meet business plan objectives and corporate strategies
- Participate in capital market development, analyst meetings, and production improvement.
- Direct and participate in acquisition and growth activities to support overall business objectives and plans.
- Serve as strategic advisor for key changes in planning of various issues and business decisions
- Set and assign operational goals, plan activities for departments
- Manage performance metrics for multiple plant locations
- Ensure all work activities comply with legal regulations, safety standards, and company ethics
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
