Join our biotechnology client's team as a Dispensing Technician! In this role, you will perform essential filling, capping, torquing, sealing, and labeling of various product components with a focus on manual dispensing equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Setup and operation of the manual dispensing equipment in accordance with the career grid
- Fill and cap various types of bottles with different types of liquid products using manual filling equipment
- Torque, seal, and label various types of bottles with different types of liquid products using automated equipment
- Accurate documentation of processes and various run sheets
- Work with products in a fume hood or laminar flow hood
- Assist in monitoring the inventory of department supplies
- Deep clean production area and equipment
- Cross-train in various product finishing areas
- Demonstrate inclusion through your words and actions and be accountable for a safe workspace. Act with kindness, curiosity, and respect for others
- Embrace and be open to incorporating our client's 6 Emotional & Social Intelligence (ESI) core principles in daily work
- Understand and comply with ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements applicable to our client's business
Essential Qualifications:
- High School diploma or proven work experience
- Ability to work quickly and accurately
- Competency in general math
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- General computer knowledge
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Prior experience in the operation of various types of filling equipment in a production environment and strong mechanical aptitude are preferred qualifications
Physical Demands:
- Ability to work in a clean room environment
- Ability to use a computer/Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment
- Ability to occasionally move, lift, and lower objects weighing up to 75 lbs
- Ability to move up to 300 lbs. on a dolly and 500 lbs. on a pallet jack occasionally
- Ability to remain stationary for several hours at a time, bend multiple times per day, and use hands for repetitive motions throughout shift
- Ability to work in -20 degrees C temperature occasionally
- Visual acuity for quality inspections
