Responsibilities:
- Manage all distribution center activity: warehousing, light assembly operations and logistics planning; prepare work schedules and expedite workflow as needed.
- Manage a team of associates to support facilities including inbound operations, picking, outbound operations and cycle counting.
- Develop and manage continuous improvement and cost savings projects, accountable to coordinate cross-functional resources, as well as monitoring, meeting, and reporting project deliverables.
- Build the skills of all Functional leaders and associates through hands-on interactions and personal mentoring in lean management tools, cultural change leadership and strategy deployment.
- Contribute to the design and improve new and existing process flows to meet increased annual demand.
- Manage multiple product flows to ensure on-time shipment of products.
- Ensure alignment across the organizational on safety and resource requirements for all projects as well as ensuring all changes are fully integrated.
- Provide feedback and insight to supervisors and hourly associates on a regular basis to facilitate continuous improvement and employee growth and development.
- Work closely with senior leadership team and support functions to improve processes and performance.

- Manage operating processes within the value chain (including alignment of business drivers & support functions).
- Budget planning and allocation. Manage infrastructure & interfaces within value chain.
- Maintain transparent cost monitoring and reporting.
- Set up appropriate performance targets, monitoring of progress and KPI reporting to leadership.
- Maintain and monitor staffing and training to meet financial, quality and customer expectations.
- Manage operational risk (including controls).
Key Qualifications/Skills Required:
- BA/BS Degree in a relevant discipline and/or 10+ years of distribution/fulfillment management experience in an B2B, B2C and e-commerce supply chain environment
- Leadership experience, ability to work calmly and effectively in a high-pressure, deadline-oriented distribution center environment with fluctuating demand.
- Organized and self-directed with sound, independent judgement, strong problem solving and decision-making skills; process improvement experience is a plus.
- Excellent time management, organization, and communications skills; oral, written and telephone.
- Ability to develop, implement and track progress against long term plans and programs.
- Experience supervising, coaching and developing staff.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Experience working with ERP and WMS(IRMS) systems is required.
- Experience with SAP Business One a plus
- Proficiency in the use of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Must have contacts to set up a Brand-New DC- i.e.: alarm company, waste management, carriers, landscaping, etc
