Our client is expanding their team and is looking to add an Electrical Controls Manager to bring a new skill set. Currently, they work with several controls/electrical subcontractors to complete their projects as they do not have someone internally with the knowledge of electrical and controls components. The Electrical Controls Manager will work as a part of a larger project management team and will not be expected to lead a project solely, but rather, serve as the internal controls/electrical expert to assist with any questions and drive that side of the project.

Responsibilities:
- Help define scope for the electric controls aspects of various projects
- Develop internal budgets and proposals with the support of the Business Development Team for controls projects
- Manage (and build) vendor resources and oversee the deliverable of controls work
- Oversee all controls activities
- 30% (70-75 nights per year) travel to client sites for direct troubleshooting/management of subcontractors
Qualifications:
- 5 Years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Proficient with Allen Bradley PLCs (Siemens helpful), programming, and applications of related equipment and systems
- AutoCAD (and potentially other engineering software packages) experience
- Knowledge of industry, market, and USDA/FDA Guidelines preferred, but not immediately required
- Relevant Engineering Degree preferred (Electrical, mechanical, etc.)
