1. Follows all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and good housekeeping practices2. Uses proper personal protective equipment (PPEs) when on the production floorincluding steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.) Check with theTraining Department or the Safety Department for the specific protective equipmentrequired in each area of the factory.3. Follows proper Lock Out, Tag Out (LOTO) policy and procedures. Never places anybody parts in moving machinery.4. Follows proper lifting techniques and ergonomics.5. Does not take glass or hard plastic materials onto the production floor.6. Checks work area for green release tag.7. Performs safety tests on E-stops and pull-cords.8. Ensures that all guards are in place on moving equipment.9. Never compromises on food safety and always complies with all applicableregulatory requirements.10. Reports quality concerns to the Quality Assurance Department.Environmental:1. Recycles all appropriate materials (paper, plastic, food, etc.)2. Contacts Environmental Personnel or Facilities when there is an oil, milk, orhydraulic fluid spill to assist in the immediate cleanup of the spill.3.Understands all environmental, safety, and hazard (HAZCOM) aspects of the position andfollows standard related. Performs work in such a manner as to reduce impact to theenvironment including minimizing air and water pollution.
