While reporting to the Plant Manager, as the Electro Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks, specifically proactive tasks necessary to provide high quality, efficient, timely shipment of products. Safety, quality, productivity and excellent work ethic are important to the culture.
Installing, troubleshooting, testing and maintaining auxiliary equipment as required by production
Maintaining and repairing utility and facility-related equipment as directed by the Plant Engineer
Assisting/training other maintenance personnel with repairs, PMs, and rebuilds
Collaborating closely with other departments and teams for proactive problems resolutions
Maintaining a safe, clean and organized work area
Manage small projects to maintain or upgrade equipment
Performing all duties in support of quality and safety policies
Working hours: 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Experience in machine shop equipment and welding is a plus
Comfortable with mechanical lifts, ladders, kneeling, bending, and twisting
Lifting up to 50lbs
Ability to work with limited direction from supervision as well as good oral and written communication and computer skills
Experience in an industrial environment or military experience troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining manufacturing equipment
Good working knowledge of the mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic functions of manufacturing equipment
Exceptional skills with PLC troubleshooting, electric components, variable-speed drives industrial and motor controls preferred
Understanding of ladder logic
Must have or be able to qualify for a fork truck license
Must be able to pass background and drug screen test
