Job Summary:
The Electronic Technician will perform tasks, as directed, toward the successful test, evaluation, and repair of existing electronic products.
Responsibilities:

- Repairs analog, digital and RF systems as directed through verbal or written directions, diagrams, drawings, or specifications.
- Determine repair need with a logical debug method; take appropriate debug action to meet the need and initiate component (Resistor, Capacitor, IC) level repair.
- Determine proper test equipment to be used in the repair and test of electronic assemblies (e.g., Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Frequency Generator).
- Provide technical assistance to Production and Engineering departments as needed.
- Support the development and upkeep of procedures and work instructions.
- Identify opportunities for improvement for designs and processes.
- Calibrate and maintain test stations and equipment.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
- Understanding electronic circuits (schematic interpretation).
- Knowledge of basic electronic theory.
- SMT hand soldering experience.
- Hand-eye coordination. Must be able to handle small electronic components.
- Component research (find data sheets online).
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of root cause analysis (e.g., 5-why, Fishbone, etc.)
- Organizational skills and self-motivation. Must be able to determine daily priorities and work autonomously.
- Mechanical skills (e.g., Hand tools, Drills, electric screwdrivers).

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Associate's degree in electronic technology or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in electronic repair/mechanical assembly.
- IPC Soldering and IPC ESD Certifications preferred (but not required).
- Knowledge of proper ESD handling practices.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs.

- Must have legal authorization to work in the United States
