This role is responsible for supporting the management of Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) programs in both office and manufacturing settings to ensure continuous compliance with all required company and government standards and regulations. Responsibilities:
Inspect and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices to ensure full compliance with safety standards and government regulations.
Participate in accident report investigations to determine the cause and implement preventative measures for the future.
Conduct surveys, such as noise and ventilation monitoring, and assist in staff training sessions on EH&S policy and procedures.
Prepare and label hazardous, radioactive, and mixed waste samples for transportation and storage.
Maintain and update emergency response plans and procedures, and track all necessary audits and agency inspections.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
Experience collaborating with engineers and medical staff to develop control and remedial measures for potential hazards.
Demonstrated ability to conduct new-employee health and safety orientations and develop presentation materials.
Expertise in inspecting specified areas to ensure the presence of required fire prevention equipment, safety equipment, and first-aid supplies.

High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Ability to physically stand, climb, stoop, kneel, and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Technical knowledge necessary to collect samples of dust, gases, vapors, and other potentially toxic materials for analysis.
Strong background in inspecting and evaluating facilities to ensure compliance with public health legislation and regulations.
Comfort working in environments with moving mechanical parts, toxic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and loud noise levels
