Maintains the integrity of the calibration of company tools. Requires knowledge of basic calibration requirements and proper use and maintenance of inspection tools.

Responsibilities:
Work safe and be an advocate for safety.
Receiving, in???process & final inspection (including dimensional inspection) of raw materials, manufactured parts, & fabricated structures per the requirements of applicable drawings, specifications, procedures & work instructions using dimensional measuring tools such as scales, rules, micrometers, calipers, etc.

Skills:
Preferred - SNT???TC???1A Level II Certification in VT, MT and/or UT NDT methods of inspection.
Preferred - Experience operating powered industrial trucks.

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Working knowledge or experience in NDT methods of inspection such as MT, VT, UT, UTT, AUT, RT, PT, or BLT.
Qualified to use both Brinell and Rockwell hardness testing machines.
Specialized trade school or minimum of two years of NDT experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, scanners and copiers.
Ability to read, analyze, & interpret general business documents.
Self???starter, able to prioritize & multi???task with good analytical skills.
Ability to calculate figures & amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference & volume.
Experience with dimensional mechanical measuring tools such as micrometers & calipers.
Ability to understand and interpret drawings and technical requirements.
Knowledge of receiving, in???process and final inspection processes and procedures.
