Welders/Fabricators will utilize the necessary skills and procedures to construct items used in the production of specialized communication units produced by the Company.Responsibilities:Fabricate and weld metal and/or aluminum by applying the appropriate welding techniques. Must maintain a good proficiency rate, avoiding any rework. The Metal Fabricator prepares, fabricates and welds various metal constructions, components and structures, working from patterns and blueprints. They use a variety of tools and machines to make metal parts or assemble components. They may work in manufacturing assembly, or in construction and building.Responsibilities:Their primary goal is creating and welding metal parts and assemblies.Must read and understand engineering blueprints/shop drawings, piping systems, and other related components?. and plans to know exactly what is required of any project. They must follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures in all the work they do. Unload and loading of inbound and outbound materials.Transporting materials to job sites and also some in-site piping installs.Organizing and maintaining a neat and orderly shop.Cut and Fabricate Metal Objects using a variety of tools to work with metal. They operate cutting saws to cut various metals, and weld and grind fabricated structures to meet structural requirements.Must perform detailed quality checks to ensure that it meets all standards and requirements.
