Job Description:
As a Field Service Technician, you’ll be on the front lines of maintenance excellence, representing a company known for its innovation, precision, and commitment to quality. You’ll handle on-site installations, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and system upgrades while integrating modern information technology tools to optimize performance and reliability.
You’ll work hands-on with cutting-edge equipment, blending mechanical expertise with information technology systems that support diagnostics, automation, and data-driven maintenance operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Technician who enjoys travel, hands-on work, and leveraging both technical and digital skills in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Travel extensively across North America and internationally as a trusted Field Service Technician.
- Perform on-site equipment installation, calibration, and ongoing maintenance.
- Support start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting of new thermal processing systems.
- Collaborate with engineering, sales, and information technology teams to deliver seamless maintenance solutions.
- Conduct electrical and mechanical diagnostics to improve maintenance efficiency.
- Document maintenance reports and technical data using advanced information technology tools.
- Communicate effectively with customers to ensure satisfaction and long-term reliability.
- Provide technical feedback to improve equipment design, system integration, and maintenance procedures.
Education: No formal education required.
Experience: 12 months
Skills:
- 1+ year of experience as a Field Service Technician or in industrial maintenance roles.
- Strong background in electrical systems, mechanical assembly, and applied information technology.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and information technology documentation.
- Proficiency with digital diagnostic and information technology systems for predictive maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in maintenance or information technology preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively domestically and internationally.
