Family business in need of a Field Service Technician in the manufacturing and distribution of packaging solutions for the fruit and vegetable industry. The company provides complete machinery to manufacture tubular netting, printed goods, weighing and bagging machines for our customers. The Field Service Technician will provide professional services to customers by performing system installations, repairs and maintenance of the equipment. Must have excellent troubleshooting skills, the ability to adapt to changing work schedules, be able to work independently and travel extensively. This is a full-time position and will be servicing our customers within the Georgia region.

Responsibilities:
Service existing accounts by analyzing work orders; plan daily travel schedule; investigate complaints; conduct various testing; resolve new or existing problems.
Establishes service by studying system requirements; ordering and gathering components and parts; completing installations; performing acceptance tests.
Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommend system improvements.
Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; administering repairs.
Install enhancements, test and calibrate machinery to meet customer specifications.
Provide training to machine operators. Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
Maintains customer confidence by keeping service information confidential.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
Accomplishes operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Provide excellent customer service to our Customers.
Skills:
2 yrs. Industry experience
Multi-Lingual (Spanish) a plus.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
Degree and/or Certification in electrical and communication engineering systems.
Proven work experience as a field service technician.
Ability to travel (up to 40%) and work according to a changing schedule.
Have a passport or the ability to get one for international travel.
Excellent time management skills.
Mechanical and electrical skills.
Ability to problem-solve.
Good communication and training skills.
Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk and hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools or controls.
Must have manual dexterity to operate the equipment and tools required for this position.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
