Primarily responsible for assembly operations of printed circuit boards, box build assemblies and any other mechanical work directed by Mechanical Lead.

Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions:
- Assemble PCA to process documentation.
- Reviews engineering documents for any special requirements.
- Assemble PCA to IPC-610 and J-STD0001 workmanship criteria.
- Work closely with Mechanical Lead to resolve any issues
- May perform machine or hand potting of PCA using epoxy compound
- May perform conformal coating on PCB/PCA
- May perform some assembly involving cables
- Participate in company or special training classes with emphasis on employee improvement
- Ensures work area is kept clean and safety rules are followed
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Skills:
Working knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485
Ability to build cable and wire harness assemblies to IPC-620
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- Must be able to build box build assemblies or related PCA to IPC 610/JSTD-001 workmanship
- Must be able to read and interpret industry standards, engineering drawings and specifications
- Must be able to use/work safely with mechanical/hand tools involved in box build assemblies/PCA
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Must have good math skills and computer skills and ability to learn and use ERP system
- Requires resolve to follow through until satisfactory resolution is made
- Ability to utilize all hand tools required for PCA (ex. screw drivers)
- Ability to determine critical points of assembly
- Ability to follow work instructions
- Ability to follow direction from management
- Ability to work well independently and within a team
- Ability to learn through shadowing and following documented procedures
Education:
Minimum of high school diploma/equivalent or minimum six (6) months of related assembly experience
