key responsibilities
- Prepares spreadsheets for Accountants as directed.
- Assists Accountant 1 in invoice processing.
- Accounts receivable postings.
- Corrects and resubmits insurance claims when appropriate.
- Verification of client insurance information in computer database, keeping updated copies of client insurance cards, in order that billing is processed correctly and payment is received in a timely manner.
- Helps clerical staff in the process of Request for Services forms received from contracted providers.
- Maintains Inventory list for the controllers office.
