key responsibilities
- Perform preventative and routine maintenance on all equipment
- Ensure proper and accurate documentation off all maintenance performed
- Complete body repairs
- Perform safely inspections on all equipment
- Mount/dismount tires and make all necessary repairs
- Perform work at other locations when necessary
- Maintain a clean and safe working area at all times.
skills
- Knowledge and previous experience heavy equipment maintenance
- Basic tool knowledge and equipment knowledge
- Written and verbal communication skills
qualifications
- Knowledge of the use of testing equipment, gauges / tools with vehicle troubleshooting and repair
- Must be able to safely operate vehicles with manual and automatic transmissions
- Must be able to travel to other locations for work
- Must be able to carry up to 50lbs. and be able to push or pull up to 100lbs.
- Previous trailer repair experience preferred.
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- CDL Class A preferred
education
High School Diploma or GED
