Responsibilities:
Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, move, and stack materials in warehouses, factories, or construction sites. Perform daily safety checks and inspections on the forklift to ensure it is in good working condition before operation. Efficiently loading and unloading goods from trucks, storage areas, and production lines while following proper weight limits and stacking guidelines. Moving goods to and from various locations within a facility, including loading docks, storage areas, and production lines.

Knowledge and experience of both sit down and stand up forklifts.

Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of 6 months on the truck experience.
Proficiency with steering, acceleration, braking, and operating hydraulic controls (lift, tilt, side shift).
Knowing how to start, stop, and maneuver the forklift smoothly.
Properly picking up, transporting, and setting down loads.
Balancing and securing loads to avoid tipping or load shifts.
Recognizing load capacity limits and adhering to them.
Proper use of safety devices like seatbelts, horns, and warning lights.
Performing pre-operational checks, including fluid levels, tire condition, and control functionality.
Identifying potential malfunctions or damage and reporting them promptly.
Ability to operate in tight spaces, navigate through narrow aisles, and work around obstructions.
Maintaining visibility of the load and path, using mirrors and backup alarms when necessary.
