Spherion is assisting our client in their search for a Global Technical Trainer. Your work, which includes new laboratory startup and technician training, will be an integral part of ensuring the successful expansion of our client's business!

- Evaluate individual customer training needs to determine the next course of action while facilitating hands-on learning
- Create training materials for subject matter experts to review and collaboratively refine materials to support business needs using sound instructional design techniques
- Deliver technical training both in-person and remotely using sound training principles, adult learning techniques, and facilitation skills
- Take responsibility for updating and reviewing current materials to ensure content is relevant, accurate, and appropriate for training use
- Perform and train all aspects of the client Sexing Process, including but not limited to, the operation of the proprietary client technology, instrument troubleshooting, basic equipment maintenance, and all processes before and after the instrument
- Assist in the set up of new lab spaces and participate in the commissioning and validation process ensuring training and instrument/process requirements are met
- Assist with assembling sexing instruments when needed
- Provide reports regularly on project/deployment progress
- Complete sign-off documentation of lab validation
- Audit technicians and processes both internally and for 3rd party customers to ensure procedures are being followed
- Lead small improvement projects within the Training Department
- Assist in instrument and process root cause analyses
Qualifications and Skills Essential to the Role:
- Bachelor's degree or a high school diploma with 2 years of relevant experience
- 3+ years of laboratory or production floor experience
- 1+ years of training experience
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally 50-75% of the time with ranges of stay between 1 and 12 weeks long
- Driver's license required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Adobe PDF
- Proven quality mindset
- Demonstrates a good understanding of industry-relevant EU standards/certifications
