Spherion Austin is hiring for the role of Guest Service Representative/Front Desk Agent. In this role you will assist guests efficiently, courteously, and professionally in all front desk related functions.
Responsibilities:
*Greet and register guests and provide room assignments, accommodating special requests whenever possible.

*Assists in pre-registration and blocking of reservations.
*Prepares for group arrivals and departures.
*Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, and in a friendly and professional manner using the service basics as outlined in the WHI pledge.
*Resolves guest challenges and takes appropriate action to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
*Communicates with next shift associates by logging pertinent information in the appropriate logbook.
*Provides coverage for PBX as needed using proper telephone etiquette, and puts in wake up calls for guests upon request.
*Able to stand for 8 consecutive hours.
Working hours: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Skills:
*Previous hotel experience.
*Thorough working knowledge of the reservation system and procedures, takes reservations and knows cancellation procedures and policies.
Education:
High School
Experience:
0-1 years
Qualifications:
*Previous hotel experience.
*Experience using FSPMS system.
*Wears proper uniform and name tag at all times in accordance with the standards of personal appearance guidelines in the WHI handbook.
*Able to stand for 8 consecutive hours.
