Responsibilities:
Conduct regular inspections and audits of the workplace to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and recommend corrective actions.
Coordinate and provide training to employees on safety regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials, use of personal protective equipment, emergency preparedness and other safety-related topics
Maintains necessary documentation for internal or governmental regulations and standards.
Provides documentation to internal or external auditors as needed.
Track all driver credentials (License, Medical Cards, etc.) and send renewal notification reports to Site Managers
Assist in completing all driver safety performance history checks and Department of Transportation (DOT) drug/alcohol history checks
Populate and manage personnel data software to ensure all driver credentials and files are compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Requirements (FMCSR)
Assist in correcting and running violation reports
Maintains accurate recordkeeping data as required by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration
Manage and maintain all safety-related documentation, including incident reports, safety training records, safety manuals, and policies
Investigate and analyze incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and provide recommendations for corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence
Working with customer safety team to resolve issues
Provide Drug Screen management and oversight
Provide random safety meeting on customer site locations
Other job duties as assigned

Working hours: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Certification in Occupational Health and Safety is highly desirable

Education:
High School

Experience:
4-7 years

Qualifications:
3 years of general industry safety experience
Outstanding knowledge of safety regulations and standards
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Exceptioinal organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Proficient in using safety equipment and tools
Knowledge of emergency response procedures and first-aid techniques
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
Familiarity with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
