The Heat-Treat Laborer will perform the following duties routinely, efficiently, and effectively to successfully help achieve the high quality of product required here at CHT. - Report with regular attendance. - Establish and maintain effective work relationships within the department and Company. - Maintain the professional competence, knowledge, and skill necessary to perform all assigned responsibilities satisfactorily. - Prepare objects for processing by physically grouping, sequencing and inserting them in process frames when applicable. - Prepare process objects by applying heat treat masking material when applicable. - Mechanically or physically transport process objects to the appropriate processing furnace/dryer, etc. - Unload objects that have been processed from the processing furnace/dryer, etc. at the appropriate and safe time. - Clean/sandblast objects when applicable. - Perform duties in a safe, non-hazardous manner in compliance with safety standards. - May perform other various facility duties specific to the facility?s needs as required by management such as cleaning, maintenance, or administrative duties as they occur or when needed to temporarily replace other employees

The employee must be able to lift up to and carry 50 lbs. frequently. Since work requires manual manipulation of process objects in a high-hazard environment, an employee must be able to physically manipulate these objects by hand on a fairly repetitive basis throughout the workday as well as be able to navigate the production floor safely. Have the ability to adjust to varying temperature settings.
